Product Manager (f/m/x) - AR/VR Mobile App (B2C)

We are looking for a Product Manager motivated to build a venture that will redefine eCommerce using AR/VR. 


At Looks we are  building a new way of shopping online, starting with cosmetics. The venture combines the potential of augmented reality with a new take on social commerce into a B2C mobile app. Their goal is to use machine learning to create an inclusive experience that embraces self-love, moving away from traditionally narrow marketing beauty standards by putting the users (and not models) at the core of the experience. 


Our company is based at the AI Campus Berlin and financially backed by Merantix, an AI Venture Studio with a track record of 7 incubated companies and more than 120+ team members employed. Our growing ecosystem constitutes a unique brand with a shared tech and operational infrastructure that attracts talent, resonates with industry partners, and leverages the proven network and product building experience. You will be joining an experienced founding team with experience in building and launching ventures internationally.

Your role

What you will do:

  • Evaluate AR/VR, Photo/Video and Social B2C market competition and position the product;

  • Build a continuous process of CustDev to analyse users feedback, research and market insights to translate them into product requirements;

  • Lead the product roadmap and establish a shared vision to define priorities and improve the value of product;

  • Define key product metrics and analyse impact of feature performance on product success;

  • Construct and analyse A/B tests, work with Growth Hacking techniques to grow the retention and referral exponentially;

  • Contribute to the Looks’ overall product strategy and product development process;

  • Work closely with the Marketing team, UA & ASO specialists, UX designers, Engineering team, Content team and other PMs to successfully implement the strategy as measured by KPIs.

Your profile

Essential requirements:

  • 3+ years of customer-facing mobile product development and product management experience. You have a deep understanding of iOS and Android platforms and specifics of working with AppStore and Google Play;

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities incl. deep understanding of Amplitude, Tableau and Firebase;

  • Experience with products with a subscription model and/or subscription management, experience in improving product monetization;

  • Experience with mobile B2C is a must (please provide the reference to the apps you worked on as a Product Manager)

  • Data-Driven and Result-Driven Thinking;

  • Able to understand the technical architecture of mobile and web products;

  • Adept in working in agile/scrum team environment;

  • Advanced spoken and written English;

  • Experience with ASO, SEO, UA and ads production

Bonus points if: 

  • Experience with products with a subscription model and/or subscription management, experience in improving product monetization;

  • Strong familiarity with data preparation, processing, classification, and forecasting.
